MidCoast Christian College is a rapidly expanding, Christ-centred school of over 800 students,
situated in the Greater Taree region on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW. A vacancy has
arisen for a teacher of Secondary HSIE.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant must:

• Be a practising Christian, active in a church, and subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
• Demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective;
• Have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Have extensive knowledge of the 7-12 Geography or Business  Studies curriculum;
• Demonstrate an ability to cater to the full range of learners, have high expectations of students and integrate ICT into teaching;
• Be able to understand and use data to inform planning and  implement assessment for learning principles; and
• Be willing to contribute to the College’s co-curricular program.

The successful applicant must satisfy NSW Working with Children and NSW Education
Standards Authority (NESA) teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in
Australia.
